Broken Unions: Divorce In The USA [Infographic]

With an estimated one million divorces per year, it’s no wonder that individuals these days are more wary about marriage than ever before.  In a study conducted by Cornell University, two out of three study participants were afraid of the social, legal, emotional, and economic consequences of divorce.  It was also reported that the average marriage lasts only eight years.

Divorces are rarely tame or harmless, costing an average of fifteen thousand dollars each.  Then there are cases like that of Kelsey and Camilla Grammar that cost Kelsey around thirty million just for the divorce settlement.
