Five percent of all dogs in the United States today are labeled as pit bulls. However, 40 percent of all dogs in animal shelters are classified as bully breeds. Many people believe all pit bulls are dangerous, and this couldn’t be further from the truth. This infographic presented by National Geographic takes a look at the pit bull breed and how they aren’t as dangerous as many seem to think.
