Facebook is doing very well. It is now the second most visited site after Google having overtook Yahoo. Looks like Facebook is going from strength to strength.

I found this post on google cause its currently #1 for “Most Addictive Social Media Sites.”

Anyway, there are soo many to choose from already its a bit daunting for non-techs like myself.

I just started using LinkedIn and find it highly useful and definitely a bit addictive at times. And all the comments here have been great, I hope to check out some of these other top social media hang-outs soon.

**Raising my hand** I’m pretty much signed up to each and every social media site you just described. I have a profile with at least 150 friends. In real life my life counts about 3 friends *sigh** perhaps instead of surfing I should get outside to get some real life friends.

The question how to manage your time 1 hour on Digg, every 2 hours on twitter, twice a day on Facebook, till I fall asleep on Stumbleupon and breakfast with Fark and Slashdot.

Stumbleupon is actually quite addictive. Personally, I have found really interesting sites and learned a lot of new things from using it.I also use Mixx, Twitter and Propeller to name a few other social sites.

I’m addicted to facebook, stumbleupon, and mixx.

Facebook: great applications and I can connect with friends that I don’t see anymore.

Stumblupon: fast and random, I love that and you can select categories to better fit you.

Mixx: I hate digg because it is too slow for me, Mixx is much faster and less spammy.

I haven’t try plurk and twitter yet, but will definitely give it a try.

heh, stumbled this one, too. it was the first of my “couple of stumbles before i get dressed to go to work”. anyway, i’m only addicted to stumble out of the ones you listed here. but even more than stumble, i’m completely addicted to last.fm. i know it’s more than a basic social platform, but what i find uncanny is how it gets people addicted through the sheer power of numbers and stats it generates.

been using stumbleupon for quite a few years mate. fantastic site it is,helps u find great sites. am a bit addicted to it.
