I tried using their ‘old’ flagging system for mis categorized pages several times – but it never had any effect.

Good post on a great topic. SU is, by far, my favorite social media site. As of late, the ignorance an hostility combined in some users is really unpleasant. Hopefully this will sort that out.

And remember there is no such thing as: violent/hostile/vulgar
If you set your self up properly on stumbleupon. Then you won’t get stumbled to violent/hostile/vulgar sites.
Well, Maybe the ‘violent’ one. Or maybe the ‘hostile’ one. But there is nothing ‘vulgar’ on the internet.!.!

Glad you liked the post. Yes, I like what StumbleUpon has done here. Separating out the ability to report both good and bad behaviors for both the story itself vs. stumbler is great.

Unfortunately I think something like this is needed. Hostile and Violent spring to mind when anything seo is posted.

I have also seen a number of accounts “under review” that tick both those boxes.
